2009 Holden HSV W427
Here it is folks “Australias Most Expensive Production Car” the Holden Commodore ??
As strange as that sentence sounds, its true, the new 2009 HSV W427 will be Australias most expensive production car ever at $150,000AUD. Now if that sounds a little retarded to you, congratulations, you would be right.
This car and design has been personally overseen by Tom Walkinshaw, the man responsible for the HSV brand. Tom seems pretty stoked on the new HSV, obvioulsy he wont have to pay for one. Tom has confirmed the W427 will come off the line producing about 502Bhp from the massive 7.0ltr V8. It will ride on standard 20 inch forged wheels, and the interior will be red, although it looks like they have stolen the design from a 300C Estate.
So basically, this is a Commodore with a bigger engine, some 20 inch wheels and some fancy red leather.
You couldnt help driving down the road thinking ” did i really just pay $150k for a Commodore?? “
